Banner Rotator webpart
Hi
We have installed AMREIN ENGINEERINGs banner rotator webpart. Its a great succes and many departments and colleagues want to use this canal to supply with pr campaign information. Usually we have 5-7 pictures rotating on our startpage and on other pages as well.
The webpart is connected with a picture library on the same site. In the list you have to define urls from the image to a specific page. The Time/date colum in the list rules the sorting of the pictures.
The price of the webpart was 125$ and we had to use another 7-8 hours to customise the webpart. The apperance of the rotating pictures is very smooth and soft. In the top of the banner there is numbers indicating how many banner there will be rotating and they are clickable. We have to delete older pictures in the list, however it should be possible to automate/code this process with timeschedulling as well.
Theres a few options to configure the webpart in the configurationpanel.
Best regards
