2010 has been a great year for Intranets. Web 2.0 finally came out of its shell and the explosive growth of Facebook,  Twitter, and YouTube brought social tools to the mainstream.

First, let me start off with a bit of a disclaimer. I’m not an anti-Facebook zealot and my goal isn’t to discourage the use of Facebook by companies and organizations.

Ready to roll out your new Enterprise 2.0 Strategy? Looking to save the company millions by implementing an internal social strategy?

Let’s face it, new employees who come to your organization right out of college are probably pretty familiar with social media.

Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about whether Facebook is a suitable platform for organizations to build a corporate intranet.

It never ceases to amaze me how few people trust their organizational intranets.
